Mr. Sinsheimer began with Andre, Morris & Buttery in March of 2021. Mr. Sinsheimer brings his knowledge and expertise in Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Tax, and related business and real estate matters to the firm.

Mr. Sinsheimer served as a law clerk to Richard H. Chambers, Chief Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1971-1973. Since 1973, he has been engaged in the private practice of law in San Luis Obispo, California.

Mr. Sinsheimer represents a wide range of clients in connection with estate planning and trust and estate administration. His clients run the gamut from the newly adult to the more seasoned.

He represents people whose wealth runs the gamut from modest to substantial. As part of these representations, he becomes involved in helping people develop business succession strategies with the goal of the smoothest most successful possible transition with the least tax burden both at the time of transition and into the future.

Mr. Sinsheimer is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Tax Court.

Business & Community

Mr. Sinsheimer is a member of the American Bar Association , the State Bar of California, and the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association. He served on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California from 1993-2005 . He was chair of the Section in 2001-2002 . He is a former president of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association and was the founder and first chair of the Estate and Trust Section of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association.

Mr. Sinsheimer is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Mr. Sinsheimer is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Mr. Sinsheimer is a former director of the Boalt Hall Alumni Association.

Mr. Sinsheimer is a member of the Planning Committee for the annual UCLA­ CEB Estate Planning Institute. He is a former co-chair of the Planning Committee

Mr. Sinsheimer has been deeply involved in his community throughout his career. He Founded the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center and served as its president from 1986-1996.

He was a founding director of the Community Foundation of San Luis Obispo County, 1998-2008.

He was a director of the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival and served as president 1978- 1980.

He was a member of the Executive Board of the Santa Lucia Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and served as Council President 1977- 1979.

Mr. Sinsheimer served as a Director of the Cal Poly Foundation for several years.
